Album Art > Greycoats

Minneapolis band, Greycoats, have created a very special project to celebrate their newest release.  They've asked 12 artists to interpret each of the 12 songs on the album, World of Tomorrow.  

This is my contribution for their song, "Hideaway":

The artworks will be on display at the their CD release show 
Sat, Jan 26th at the Ritz Theater in Minneapolis and then it will be a little "traveling" exhibition.

Acoustic tours of the exhibit every Saturday at 1pm

"For the truly curious, we'll be leading walking tours of the entire exhibit every Saturday at 1pm, playing an acoustic set of the album and offering our interpretations."

I had a blast listening to "my song" and I hope the resulting painting is a worthy tribute.
